What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on the next page you open. Without them you would be signed out on every click.
What Ahjez stores
These are the only things we keep in your browser:
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in after you enter your code. It is httpOnly, meaning no script on the page can read it, and it lasts 30 days unless you sign out.
- Your language choice, so the site opens in English or Arabic as you left it.
- Short-lived technical values used while you are signing in or paying, which disappear when the process finishes.
What Ahjez does not do
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party trackers, and we do not build a profile of you for marketing. Nothing on Ahjez follows you to other websites.
When you pay, Tap Payments' own page may set cookies needed to process the payment securely. That page is theirs, and their privacy terms apply to it.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in, so booking and viewing your bookings will not work.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
